Job Description

ArcelorMittal USA has Business Systems Analyst positions available in its Information Technology Department. We offer challenging careers in Information Technology to people with high leadership, business, and interpersonal potential. 

As a Business Systems Analyst in the Information Technology Department at ArcelorMittal USA, you will work with various business managers & staff to understand their functional processes, to develop and recommend solutions to improve business processes and to develop business cases.  The business systems analyst is expected to keep up with changing technology in order to recommend viable cost effective business solutions.  The business systems analyst will interface with application support systems analysts in developing solutions and high level work estimates. The business systems analyst will work with the business & applications team leads to prioritize Information Technology work based upon benefit to the business.  The business systems analyst will also perform various other activities required to support the business. 

When you begin your career at ArcelorMittal you will be provided training to introduce key business functionality along with Information Technology processes.  The business systems analyst will be given the opportunity to focus on specific functional areas.  You will be able to shadow resources as you are introduced to the organization.

Assignments are designed to develop business functional expertise, leadership and general business skills.  In addition, personal and professional development is enhanced through seminars, workshops, and continuing education.

As you gain experience, you will be given the opportunity to participate in key projects to transform the business, taking on increasing responsibilities and positions of leadership.  The variety of responsibilities and exposure received provides a framework for career development towards a management career path.    

ArcelorMittal USA generally requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business with an emphasis in Management Information Systems, or other business related field.  In addition, the Company generally does not sponsor candidates for temporary visas or permanent residency at the Bachelor’s level.
