Job Description

Please note the information as set forth below is based on the job description for entry level systems analysts.  The projects in which an intern will participate will vary, depending on education level and assignment, but will model the duties below to the extent possible:

Business Systems Analyst Supply Chain

The intern will be working in one of the on-going projects in the planning and MES space. Depending on the nature and the stage of the project , he/she will be involved/assisting in one or many of the following activities -

1. Business requirements gathering

2. Project Definition covering scope, requirement, cost and benefit

2. Understanding vendor solution functionality and technical architecture

3. Fit/gap analysis

4. To-Be process workflow and To-Be systems architecture creation

5. Understanding data requirements

6. Data generation and validation

7. Test case creation

8. Software solution configuration

9. Integration testing

10. User acceptance testing

 

Minimum Requirements

Candidates should be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Information Technology, Supply Chain or another relevant business degree with a concentration of Information Technology courses, have completed at least their sophomore year of study by the Summer of 2012;  and have a GPA of at least 3.40
